CARE GUIDE
To preserve the beauty of your kimono, gentle care is recommended.
- CLEANING
Professional dry cleaning is recommended.
Please inform the cleaner that the garment is silk and vintage.
- IRONING
Use a dry iron on low heat and avoid steam when possible.
Always place a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric.
High heat or steam is not necessarily harmful, but depending on the fabric’s age and condition, it may cause shine or marks.
If using higher heat or steam, test first on an inconspicuous area or the reverse side.
- FOLDING
Proper folding helps maintain the garment’s shape.
Please refer to our folding tutorial video.
- STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
Avoid direct sunlight and humidity.
ABOUT THE ART OF FOLDING
The way a kimono is folded
is as important as the way it is worn.
A gesture of respect.
A preservation of history.
